Ants in the Shower

Two years ago ant somehow got into our well water. It was disgusting.
I am not exaggerating when I say they came out of the shower heads. That is how we discovered them. They had built up behind the little aerator/screen piece inside and were being pushed through the holes in the shower head....eeewwwwwwwwwww!

I took the aerator pieces out of every faucet & shower and there was a build up of ants.
I will not ever put those pieces back in. If ants are ever in the well again I want to see them immediately. The exterminator we called said this was a first for him...lucky us.

This is also why I had no trouble spraying the ants shown in the post below.
